Amazon Saudi Empowers Local Businesses with Annual Seller Summit

Amazon Saudi Arabia has hosted its annual Seller Summit in Riyadh, unveiling a range of innovative tools and services aimed at empowering small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Saudi Arabia. These tailored solutions are designed to help SMBs tap into a vast online customer base and drive accelerated growth, just in time for the bustling end-of-year shopping season, including the highly anticipated White Friday sale.

Hundreds of Saudi sellers attended the event, participating in immersive master classes to explore Amazon's diverse array of solutions. These offerings simplify the seller journey, covering product listing, advertising, brand building, shipping, and fulfillment. Amazon also introduced its enhanced Arabic mobile seller app, providing local businesses with accessible and convenient control over their online stores in their preferred language.

During the event, senior leaders and subject matter experts shared insights on leveraging Amazon's latest capabilities to expand customer reach and achieve growth objectives.

Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East and North Africa, emphasized the essential role of selling partners in Amazon's customer-centric model. He acknowledged the contribution of local businesses and SMBs to economic growth, diversification, and job creation, aligning with Saudi Arabia's vision for a digital economy.

The Saudi Seller Summit also celebrated the achievements of sixteen outstanding independent selling partners, recognizing their performance in areas such as customer satisfaction, delivery speed, and effective use of Amazon seller tools.

Karim Ghandour, Head of Marketplace for Amazon Saudi Arabia, highlighted the close collaboration between Amazon and local selling partners. He explained that the summit, held annually ahead of the White Friday sale, equips selling partners to maximize their success during Saudi Arabia's busiest shopping season. Amazon's comprehensive suite of tools, including advertising, brand-building, and account management tools, along with shipping and fulfillment capabilities, empowers selling partners to connect with millions of customers on Amazon.sa.

Apart from learning from Amazon experts, SMBs in Saudi Arabia had the opportunity to network with peers, exchange knowledge, and share success stories.

The event underscores Amazon's commitment to Saudi Arabia's growing SMB sector. Since the launch of Amazon.sa in 2020, the company has invested in providing support, logistics, tools, and services to help sellers establish their brands and leverage Amazon's scale to reach a global customer base. This year, the launch of Global Registration has further expanded opportunities for Saudi sellers to connect with millions of customers worldwide.

In summary, Amazon's annual Seller Summit in Saudi Arabia demonstrates the company's dedication to empowering local businesses and fostering growth opportunities for SMBs in the region.
