Companies' evaluation was based on the nine criteria, including the effectiveness of their management, product quality, and commitment to social responsibilities. As evidenced throughout the previous year, Amazon teams made a concerted effort to be available to its users, staff members, and the communities they support.

Amazon teams work diligently to show up for its customers, employees, and the communities they serve. Some initiatives like buying with prime, thanksgiving weekend, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon Disaster Relief teams were undertaken in 2022.
Amazon stated that they are incredibly proud of all their employees' impactful work throughout the past year. The firm further said, “It is an exciting honor to be recognized on Fortune's 2023 list of the World's Most Admired Companies”.
